Curious. How about placing the freeze dried ginger pieces into a spice grinder to powder it first before reconstitution with water? Would this serve the dish better as an ingredient when cooked?

Fresh ginger and candied ginger can be difficult to come by, This product was new to be when it was spotted in the local grocery store in the spice aisle. The web-site loaded with a scan of the bottler. Helpful! I don’t mind chunks of ginger in a bite of food (esp ginger beef! Yum!) and I also use it in tea as a digestive aide. (I drink the tea & eat the ginger bits) Thank you, LITEHOUSE for a product that travels well with an extended shelf life. Very appreciated.
Ps. I would recommend rehydrating before adding to any recipe, just to be sure the ginger is a good quality chunk, and not a piece that is more fibrous, just as you would inspect pieces from a ginger root bought in the produce aisle. After being rehydrated in my tea, some pieces are more chewy than others!

Hi Guietta!
Litehouse Instantly Fresh herbs rehydrate instantly. If your recipe contains liquid ingredients, you can simply add the herbs directly to your recipe. If you want to use the herbs as a garnish or in a recipe that is drier, you can simply measure the herbs in to a small container and add half to an equal amount of water and stir. You can add additional water a drop at a time if more is needed. You can even spray them with a mister until the desired consistency is reached.
Please don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have any further questions!
