The soybean oil used in Litehouse products is highly refined and considered safe for those with a soy protein sensitivity. According to the FDA, highly refined soybean oil is exempt from allergen labeling.

NOOO! You added soy?!? We have soy allergies and I have bought every soy-free ranch dressing that I could find. I threw all of them away except for Litehouse Homestyle Ranch. We love it at our house and use it all of the time. Now we have to stop using it. Please please please change it back.

Very disappointed to find out that Soybean oil is the first ingredient!! This was the only ranch dressing I would buy,my son has G6PD Deficiency and cannot eat soy. It also doesn’t taste the same! You lost a loyal customer!

WHY?!?!?!?!?! We have always had 5+ bottles of this product (all varieties of dressing) in our home at all times. I am GF and soy free, given major allergies to both and when my husband found this dressing – veggies became my favorite food! I used your dressings on everything for my entire family. Now that you have changed over to ‘soybean’ oil we can no longer use your products. I’ve discussed this with many other families who are in the same situation, it’s bigger than you understand. Bring back the original with Canola oil!! PLEASE!!!

We have a ton of food allergies in our home and this dressing was safe for everyone until you changed it to have soybean oil. Very disappointing to see and I’ve been sick for a couple of days. We were fans but not anymore.

Hands down THE BEST ranch out there! I refuse to eat any other ranch seriously! Me and my family buy 2 bottles every week. Obsessed.

Same deal I only bought this one because it was the ONLY one without soybean oil. Now the last batch we bought I didn’t notice at first but now it has canola/soybean oil. I wish places would stop adding soybean oil to things. My allergy isn’t as severe as others but I get hives from soybean oil so I will no longer be able to buy this. Please change it back!

Please reconsider and return to the original recipe. Litehouse Ranch was the only dressing I could eat. It was excellent! It is now made with soybean oil. I Am unable to tolerate. Also, the taste and texture is noticeably inferior to the previous formulation.

I used to love this for years and bought it solely because it did not use soybean oil. I just purchased a new bottle and could not figure out why I felt ill after and it tasted differently on top of that. Seeing the soybean oil as the first ingredient really upset me as I cannot have soy due to an allergy. Which means I am back to square one and have to make my own ranch. What a waste. Change it back. Stop being cheap.
