Opening the jar:
These containers have a pull tab on the opposite side of the thumb tab. Pull gently on the end and rotate the jar while pulling and it will remove the safety seal, thus freeing the lid from the neckband and allowing it to open freely.

Refrigeration:
This product does not require refrigeration after opening. After the seal is broken, moisture from other products in your refrigerator can actually lessen the herb’s shelf life. To help keep the product as fresh as possible for as long as possible, we recommend storage in a cupboard away from direct light and humidity. Exposure to light can pull the color out of the herbs. However, light does not depreciate the flavor.

How do I open the parsley? Do I refrigerate after opening?

I have slaved over cutting up parsley to go into my tabouli recipe that my family loves and now I don’t have to anymore. This freeze dried parsley is lovely and flavorful! Thank you!

Used in a Salmon Garlic Dijon recipe and it did the trick. Easier to measure out 2 Tbs from the jar rather than buy a bunch, chop it up and then measure it out. Will be using it for all recipes that call for parsley. Keeps longer, no refrigeration required, and helps me with meal preparation in my busy schedule.

Basil, Chives, Red Onion, Dill! QUESTION— what type parsley? Italian Flat Leaf, or Curly? We only use Italian Flat Leaf, and I have been afraid to try the Parsley bc the jar does not specify the type.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Hi Rhonda!

Litehouse Instantly Fresh herbs rehydrate instantly. If your recipe contains liquid ingredients, you can simply add the herbs directly to your recipe. If you want to use the herbs as a garnish or in a recipe that is drier, you can simply measure the herbs in to a small container and add half to an equal amount of water and stir. You can add additional water a drop at a time if more is needed. You can even spray them with a mister until the desired consistency is reached.

We hope this is helpful!

~Hailey
